It was quite a whirlwind four days, but I'm back home in Vancouver after a trip to New York. Without any exaggeration, the Liberty Hotspot device was the hero of my trip. Since I kept my hotspot in my pocket, I FaceTimed friends and family on my iPhone (without delay thanks to the 4G network), always had Googlemaps available (which was huge), could use the iPhone apps Viber and Skype to contact friends from Europe who were Stateside, and stream video after I got food poisioning from a Lower East Side diner!

My trip began with hours waiting for my plane at SEA-TAC. Right away I found myself turning to the Liberty Hotspot to stream movies, and getting quite excited as the moments passed. Without a doubt, I would have been bored and lost so many times over without this little piece of technology, it's almost scary.

It was the overall ability to do anything you wanted on your iPhone coupled with a 4G network, anywhere you wanted, that made things so easy. My iPhone is locked with Rogers, but I could still hook up to any wifi signal, hence the portability of the Liberty Hotspot being so lifesaving. The ability to use your iPhone while traveling the same way you would be using it back home is truly priceless. There were a few moments where I stepped back and wondered how my trip would be going without the Liberty Hotspot, and just shook my head and said 'forget it'; I didn't even want to consider that possibility.

A happy roamer,
Victoria
