Film festival lovers, never fear – Sundance may have completed last month, but there is still a run of notable film festivals, particularly the Cleveland International Film Festival, about to begin.

The Cleveland International Film Festival (CIFF) has been an environment for many notable documentaries, art house films and thrillers from all over the world. By viewing the archive of films, one can get a fair handle on the types of films CIFF typically shows.

The opportunity to discuss current films, screening and work with their filmmakers is also available within special forums, which is a unique opportunity to directly access the creative minds responsible for the work you have seen at CIFF.

Also worth noting is the CIFF’s Someone To Watch award series; a young filmmaker is highlighted and their work screened and judged by a panel.  This is a fantastic opportunity to identify the next generation of film greats!

The Cleveland Film Festival occurs from March 22nd to April 1st in Cleveland, Ohio.  You can find more information within the CIFF community online, as well as purchase tickets if you’re ready to jump down to Ohio for the ‘fest!
